The owner of the studio has shot for everyone from Elle to Marie Claire, Starbucks to Coach, and much more. If you need someone to either shoot your event at Opticon, or stay with you and help you learn studio lighting one on one, we’re here to help!

Profoto Lighting System: +$350 per day
Our Profoto collection is available for rent! Included with this add-on: 2 Profoto B1x, 2 36” Octaboxes, 1 60” Deep Umbrella, 20” Beauty dish, Profoto Air Trigger, and extra Profoto batteries.

Canon 85mm 1.8 L Series Lens: + $200 per day
Great lens for portraits and headshots, works extemely well under low light conditions.

Tethering Cable
Note: This does NOT include a laptop, that’s on you.

4K Laser Projector: + $50 per day
Can be used for creative shoots, for previewing images from your shoot, or streaming!

Blackout Roll: + $10 per yard
Used to black out potions of your subject to stop lighting from hitting the area. Paper is wired so you can shape it as desired.

Edison Bulbs: + $20 per day
Over a dozen bulbs included, great for creating a moody vintage atmosphere. Warning, the bulbs do get dangerously hot.

Mylar Film Roll: + $15 per yard
Great for creating reflections on your subject, check out our gallery for some of its creative uses!

Fog Juice: + $10
Great for spooky shoots, or just adding some atmosphere to the vibe.

Used for color correcting in person, or creating your own unique color themed shoots.

Can be used to do yoga on! Though your welcome to come up with your own uses for them.

Glitter Collection: +$20
We’ve gathered an extensive collection of glitter over the years, and encoura ohers to gt creative with it. BUT, be warned, any mess left behind at all will incur a $200 cleanup fee, NO exceptions!

Backdrop Collection: + $15 per cut
Our paper bakdrop collection is completely free to use…unless it touches the ground! We like clean backdrops as much as you do, and charge $15 if we have to cut them.

Rules
By renting Opticon Studio, you acknowledge that you are 100% responsible for anything that is damaged or broken. You will incur 100% of the cost of repair or replacement, no exceptions! We can still be friends, and we’ll welcome you back, BUT you’ll have to pay for anything you break.
Similarly, you acknowledge that our space is recorded at all times for our own protection.
Absolutely no sexual acts. This is not your bedroom, and we are not a brothel. We take this VERY seriously, and so should you.
No smoking of ANY kind, and this includes vaping. The residue left WILL damage equipment, and you will be charged a cleaning fee of $200 if you do it. We are very close to the exit, please just step outside.
No alcohol, no exceptions.
Please put everything back where you got it from. You don’t want to work in a cluttered studio, and neither do we! Any mess left behind will incur a cleanup fee of $200!
$15 charge to cut any seamless paper that touches the ground/gets walked on. If you’re standing in front of it and it isn’t on the ground, they’re all free to use!
Running over your designated time WILL incur an extra hourly charge. Please be punctual and use your time wisely.
No glitter or paint, unless explicit permission granted.
Keep any music to a reasonable volume
Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. Children allowed, but please be mindful or surroundings, and rule #1.
This space allots a maximum of 20 people
